Helen Elvira Holland

Helen Holland (West) family had a house in Nahant MA, a multi-family dwelling in Chelsea MA and also owned a deli that was destroyed in the fire of 1908. The multi-family dwelling survived and still stands today with a few changes noted by Eleanor Chase, Mildred Bechtel, Carol Anderson (Bechtel), Maureen Jennings (Sullivan) and Donna Reitano (Holland) on one of our Aunts & Neices Birthday Outings. Their are two streets located between Malden and Medford (Rte 60) that are named Holland and West respectively. When travelling from Malden to Medford they are located on the left side, aprox 3 blocks from Malden T- Station. My fondest memory of Nana Holland was that during summer vacation she would have one granddaughter at a time to spend the week in her trailer. She taught me how to knit and we had a tea party with cookies every day.
