About Helena Talcott
Biography
Helena Wakeman was baptised on 23 December 1632 at Ribbesford, Worcester, England, the daughter of John Wakeman and his wife, Elizabeth.[1] Ribbesford St Leonard's, is close to the manor-house of Ribbesford, about a mile south of Bewdley.[2]. She died after 17 Jun 1674 in Hartford, Connecticut, and was buried there.
She arrived 1638 in New Haven, Connecticut[3]

Lt Col John Talcott married 2nd 9 Nov 1676 to Mary Cook, dau of Rev John Cook of New Hampshire. John Talcott died 23 July 1688.[5]

" John Waksman’s “... Will dated 18 Jun 1660, inventory taken 14 Sep 1661 mentions, among others, "... I give unto daughter Helina, wife to John Talcott ...and to ech of their three children ... namely unto John, Elizabeth and Samuel ... to my son Samuell Wakeman's two sons, namely, Samuell and John ... my daughter Kitchell's daughter Elizabeth ..."
