About Hendel Rendl Altschul

Wer sind die Prager Munk im 16. Jahrhundert? von Bernhard Wachstein page 145 4) says she died 1532, but she is still listed in 1546, so it must be later. Hock says 1572.

One major correction (or possible correction) is that the entry for haRabbanit Kendel, where it seems to say “buried next to her grandson, Henoch/Chanoch bn Moshe j”Ts”... I am attaching a clip of the actual entry and am now worried that it applies to the woman below (Kroendl e’ Elia bn Beer Altschul). The reference to the grandson is squooshed between the two entries. Usually it would be possible to tell which person it belongs to, but in this case I’m beginning to have doubts, especially since there would have been more free space above Kendel’s entry, so why force it in on the next line? Anyway, I wanted you to know I may have blown this. And it was so exciting, too...
