Liquidation and Distribution accounts show that the amounts realised from the sale of farms was:- Sterkfontein and Lemoenkloof [which was taken on by the widow, being the highest bid offered at public sale] was £2,858.5.0. The farms Grootvalley and Doornberg were sold, and after deducting expenses realised £1,981.3.3 Of amounts of money due to be settled with the estate a number are names of sons and also one for son-in-law Meindert Noome for £187.10.0 plus interest of £4.8.6

The estate was valued at £6,481.12.11 and after expenses distribution account held £6,260.14.0. Surviving spouse share was half estate £3,130.17.0 plus a child's portion of £260.17.3. The balance was divided by the 11 children at £260.17.3 each.
