Bekend as Piet PRETORIUS.
Was vooraanstaande boer wat op plaas Drie Koppen in Pretoriuskloof gewoon het in OKT 1838.
As Volksraadlid verkies kort na sy aankoms in Natal.
Was eers diaken en later ouderling in kerkraad in Pietermaritzburg en later in Transvaal.
Het teen JAN 1840 na bewering 'n huis van klip of steen gebou gehad.
Trek na die Drakensberge einde DES 1847.

Notice in Grahamstown Journal, February 1838. PUBLIC SALE WITHOUT RESERVE. The undersigned wishing to change his residence, will hold a Public Sale at the place 'Lets-Kraal', situate in the Field-cornetcy of Voor-Sneuwberg, belonging to Mr. Andries Pretorius, on the 18th day of April, 1838, of the following property:-
1st The place "Drie Kloppen" situate in Voor Sneuwberg, in extent about 3,000 morgens, planted with 5000 vines and all sorts of fruit trees, provided with extensive sowing lands, and has a substantial dwelling house, Hores Mill and other out-buildings.
2d. The place named "Klip Kraal", in extent about 2900 morgens, being a most excellent and healthy place for all sorts of cattle; as also tables, chairs, farming and other implements. etc etc
