Henrietta Eliot
Memorial service for Henretta Mack Eliot, a life-long resident of Portland, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at First Unitarian Church.
Miss Eliot died Sunday in a Portland nursing home, just a week before her 99th birthday.
She was the daughter of Thomas Lamb Eliot the first pastor of the Unitarian Church of Portland and was a sister of W. G. Eliot Jr., Who was pastor of the church for many years.
She was a member of many organizations, including the Portland Art Association, World Affairs council of Oregon, League of Women Voters, Portland Symphony Society, Urban League, United Nations Association, Boys and Girls Aid Society, and Friends of Reed College.
She is survived by 13 nieces and nephews and many grand and great-grand nieces and nephews.
The family suggests that remembrances be in the form of contributions to Reed College of a favorite charity.
