Henry George Andel

Henry G. Andel, 84, died at an Atlanta Hospital on Thursday, June 22, 2006. Funeral Services will be held at 11 A.M., Saturday, June 24, 2006 at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home with interment in Woodllawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Friday at the funeral home. The family suggests contributions to the Perry First Baptist Church. Mr. Andel, a native of Wauchula, FL., and the son of Ludwig and Elizabeth Weber Andel, had resided in Perry since 1935. He recently retired as a member of the Board of Tax Assessors for Houston County where he worked fr 35 years. A WWII Army Veteran, he was a member of the VFW, the American Legion, and was a Mason. He is survived by his wife, Wylene W. Andel of Perry; son,George Andel of San Jose, Ca; daughter, Judy Marsh of Miami, FL; sister, Elsie Merrit of Dunellen, FL; two grandchildren.
