From Private 16 September 2020:
Henry “the shoemaker” Chamberlain was born 9/15/1604 in Breckles, Norfolk, England. His fathers name was Henry Chamberlain and his mothers name was Alice (last name unknown). His parents were married in Diss, Norfolk, England.
Henry's mother died in October 1614. Henry's father remarried Christian Clark in 1617, who became young Henry's stepmother. After her husband (Henry's father) died in 1632, she later accompanied Henry Jr. and his wife Grace to Hingham, Massachusetts in 1638, on the ship Diligent. However, Henry and Grace returned to Norfolk separately, where they both died before 1650. Christian remained in in Hingham, Massachusetts and died there 4/19/1659.

Disambiguation
Of the five well-known Chamberlain immigrants to New England, Henry Chamberlain has probably been the subject of more confusion and misinformation than any, arising from the fact that for many years it was thought that only one Henry Chamberlin settled in New England when, in fact, there were two men of that name in the same general time period.
The better known of the two, (this profile’s son) was a shoemaker whose wife was Grace, arrived on the ship Diligent, 1638, with his wife, mother [SIC: stepmother], and two children, and he eventually returned to England, leaving no descendants in America.
