The will describes the plantation and house on which he presently resides. Additionally he mentioned two plantations in North Carolina on the north side of the Roanoke River, which would be quite a distance from where he died. (Bear in mind that "plantation" is just a synonym for 'farm' and could be of any size, not necessarily very big.)

(I believe my ancestor, Judith (Hunter, ca.1733 - ca.1780), wife of Jacob Perry of Kershaw County, S.C., is probably somehow related to this family. She may have predeceased this Henry Hunter, which may explain why she isn't mentioned in the will. However, none of the Perrys are mentioned in his will. And since this Henry Hunter's eldest son was a minor in 1783, it is less likely Judith was a sister and more probable that she was either his aunt or older cousin. I think Jacob Perry also came from the same general region in North Carolina and/or Virginia.)
