

ALBANY PIONEER DIES TODAY: HOLD RITES SATURDAY
Henry Lenarz, Sr. 88, Leaves 122 Descendants-Born in Ohio Henry Lenarz, Sr, one of the oldest residents of Albany, died, at 8:15 a. m., today at the home of his son, Val. at Albany. His death was caused by a lingering illness incident to his advanced years. He was 88 years of age, and was born March 5, 1844, in Ohio. Mr. Lenarz went to Albany about 45 years ago and resided there first on a farm and later engaged in business. He married Eva Thoennes, who died eight years ago. Since then lie had made his home with his son, Val. The surviving children are: Mrs. Nicholas Loehlein, Val. Henry, Jr., Michael, Nicholas, all of Albany; John, Bisbee, N.D.; Mrs. Barbara Doying, Des Moines, Ia.; and Miss Marie, of Red Drum, Idaho, who was with her father at death. One son, Joseph, died six years ago. Mr. Lenarz also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Peter Jonas, St. Martin; and Mrs. Maurice Finken, St. Anthony; 54 grandchildren and 60 great grandchildren. , Funeral services will he held at the Seven Dolors Catholic church, at 9 a.m. Saturday, and interment will be made beside Mrs. Lenarz in the parish cemetery.
