12 April 1431: Charter by which Henry de Lewyngstoun dom. de Manerstoun confirms that he has given the lands of Medilbenyng in the sheriffdom of Linlithgow to his son Henry de Lewyngstoun. The land in question was to be held by Henry Lewyngstoun, junior, and his lawful male heirs, whom failing by Henry junior's brother Robert Lewyngstoun and his lawful male heirs, whom failing by Henry junior's brother John Lewyngstoun and his lawful male heirs, who failing by Henry junior's brother James Lewyngstoun and his lawful male heirs, whom failing by the nearest lawful heirs of Henry Lewyngstoun, junior. Henry Lewinstoun dom. of Manerstoun reserved his own liferent. Henry Lewyngstoun, junior, obtained a charter of confirmation under the Great Seal of Scotland on 21 April 1431. 4 January 1463-64: Instrument of resignation and sasine narrating resignation in the hands of James, earl of Mortoun, by George de Cunyngame, son and heir apparent of Sir William de Cunyngame, lord of Beltoun, as procurator for Margaret de Levinstoun, wife of deceased Henry de Levinstoun, son and heir of deceased Henry de Levynstoun, lord of Manerstoun, of her half of the lands of Blyth, lying in the barony of Lyntoun Rothryk and sheriffdom of Peblis, reserving a liferent (proceeding on procuratory dated at Snade, 15 November 1463, directed to George de Cunyngame and Archibald de Hepburn, burgess of Hadyngtoun), and sasine to Henry Levinstoun (son and heir apparent of John de Levinstoun of Manerstoun) and Jonet, his spouse. Done in the chapel of the castle of Dalketh.
