About Henry McKay
He worked as a farmer and served in the Canadian Army from 1939 to 1945.
He married Bertha Mary Collins April 20,1936. She was born March 18, 1916 in Alticane, Sask, and died October 27,1982 in Prince Albert Sask.
He worked in various other trades and retired from Thorpe's Brothers (Plumbing and Heating, Prince Albert, Sk) in 1973.
He was active in St. Michael parish (Prince Albert, Sk) and helped physically to build the church.
He and his family served in many ministries in the parish.
Henry was known for his love of music (he played many instruments including fiddle, guitar, keyboards and others) and dancing and had won many awards in the Prince Albert Winter Festival.
He loved life and god.
