NORTHY- July 29, at Calumet, Michigan, America, the result of an accident whilst ascending the man-engine in the Calumet mine, Mr. Henry Northy, 45, formerly of Callington ( who married Miss Harris of Chacewater) cousin of ex-sheriff Northy.
From Family Search Film # 004209093, pg. 311, Record #211: Henry Northy was married at the time of his death. It gave his birthplace and those of his parents, Henry & Elizabeth Northy, as England. He was killed by gas in the mine and lists his place of death as Calumet. This records listed his age as 44 years 8 months 23 days, giving his date of death as the same as on the tombstone.
