About Henry Peyton, of Hinton-on-the-Green
"Henry Peyton, yeoman, was styled as a cadet of the Peytons of Isleham. He was named as a son of Thomas Peyton in the latter's will dated 8 July 1568 in County Worcester. Henry was second of the three youngest children of Thomas Peyton, all three of whom were under the age of seventeen in 1568.
"Henry Peyton (1590-1656) of Lincoln's Inn, County Middlesex, died testate. In his will, dated 10 December 1655, he made bequests to two of his brothers: "Unto my brother Master William Peyton £20 for mourning. To my cousins [nephews] William and Henry Peyton, sonnes of my brother Edmund Peyton £10 for mourning." This Henry Peyton (1590-1656), one of the examiners of the High Court of Chancery, was certified as a kinsman of Sir Edward Peyton (1567-1657) of Isleham having branched out of his family and was allowed the Peyton arms with a difference in the bordure.
"Henry Peyton's children Richard, Thomas and Anne were baptized in Upper Arley, County Worcester. Henry Peyton died testate in 1622 and named Edmund as his son. His sons William and Edmund were named as brothers of Henry Peyton (1590-1656) in the latter's will."
