About Henry Rice, of Dover
Do not confuse him with Henry Rice, of Framingham.
"Henry (1), Dover, had a town grant 19 Mar. 1693-4. He married widow Jane Jackson (22). Witnessed Huckins deed, 1698. Deeded in 1702 to Joseph Meader, who gave him a general receipt. Will, "aged," 31 Dec. 1711 - 13 June 1712, left entire estate (goods only) to Elizabeth Chesley (1) and named as executor her mother Deliverance Chesley, who relinquished in favor of James Jackson, stepson of the deceased. Lists 57, 94." (Noyes et al.)

- March 19, 1693-4, grant to Henry Rice of his improvement at Whisow (or Wldsone), with such addition as will make it 40 acres (Thompson, 271).
- Dec. 9, 1699, This land was laid out "on the way going to Madbery" (Thompson, 271).
- Nov. 30, 1702, Henry Ryce conveyed this land to Joseph Meader (Thompson, 271). (New Hampshire Wills, 673).
- Dec. 31, 1711 Will of Henry Ryce. All goods to Elizabeth Chesley, daughter of late George Chesley. Deliverance Chesley, executrix (New Hampshire Wills, 673).
- June 13, 1712 Deliverance Chesley renounced n favor of James Jackson, son-in-law of deceased (New Hampshire Wills, 673).
- June 13, 1712 Administration granted to James Jackson, of Oyster River (New Hampshire Wills, 673).
