29 July 1587: Transumpt of Ratification by King James VI with consent of the Estates of Parliament, of all Infeftments of Taillie, granted by David Stewart of Rossyth, to the deceased William Stewart of Berryhill, and his heirs, of the Barony and Mains of Rossyth, lands of Craigie, Garpot, third part of the lands of Fordel, Culbachy, Straburn, lands of Luchald, Pitravy, Wester Cleish, Dunduff, Colstoun, Balnamule, and Montcoy, lying in the county of Fife, lands and barony of Durrisdeer, lying in the county of Dumfries, lands of Corbs, Bucharsdies & Leitgreen, lying in the county of Perth, all united and annexed in a barony, called the barony of Rossyth, and lands and barony of Shanbody, lying in the county of Clackmannan, with the Confirmation, granted by King James IV his predecessor thereupon, or by any others his predecessors, to David Stewart son of the said William Stewart of Berryhill, Henry Stewart of Rossyth, son to the said David, or to Robert Stewart, son to the said Henry, or to George Stewart, son to the said Robert, and their heirs male, - Dated at Edinburgh. 29 July 1587.
