2 Jun 1724: Henry Webber of St. John's Parish, King WIlliam County, deeded land in Spotsylvania County to his daughter Eleanor Hickman, wife of Edwin Hickman. His wife, Jane Webber, relinquished her dower in the deed.
Henry Webber lived on the Webber plantation which was between King William courthouse and the Aquitone swamp. He died there on April 14, 1735. His grave was found by Dr Malcolm Harris (1947), the stone was inscribed with the name, Capt. Henry Webber, and stated that he was in the 63rd year of age along with the death date. It was in upper King William County on the homeplace of Dr Spiller, about 200 yards south of the home under a lone cedar tree. - Tidewater Virginia Families (see media)
