About Herbert Loeb Hutner
Herbert L. Hutner was the American chairman of the Presidential Advisory Committee on the Arts from 1982 to 1990. He was the fourth husband of Hungarian actress and socialite Zsa Zsa Gabor.
A resident of New York Hutner started his career in the Stock Market. During the 1940s he was the business partner of Tony Award winning producer Lester Osterman. During his term as chairman he served under Presidents Ronald Reagan and George H. W. Bush. Hutner married actress Zsa Zsa Gabor on November 5, 1962. The pair divorced after less than four years on March 3, 1966. Hutner later went on to become an investment banker.
Hutner died on December 7, 2008, leaving behind wife Juli Reding Hutner (married in 1969, she brought twin sons Chris and Curtis Taylor), as well as children Jeffrey Jay Hutner and Lynn Hutner Colwell, both from his first marriage to Marjorie Mayer. He was 99 years old, and only two weeks shy of reaching his 100th birthday.
