About Herbert Henry Jones
GEDCOM Note
Tidbit... The 1920 census was enumerated on Jan 13,1920. Harry died 3 months later on April 27, 1920
1880 Cesus shows he was a Carpenter 1910 census shows he worked for a Lumber comany. Can't quite tell what it says he did looks like it says "manager" 1910 census shows step daughter, Eva. Doesn't show age. This indicates that Minnie must have been married before Harry 1910 census Frank Coleman Jones (22 yo) is not in the home of his parents 1910 Census - Dwealing Number 79, Family number 79 - No Street - District 149 1920 Census shows he was a Book Keeper at a lumber company. 1920 Census shows Ethal as 23 yo "adopted daughter" This must be the "Eva" step daughter mentioned in the 1910 census 1920 Census Frank Coleman (32 yo) is back in the home with his parents - Wonder why?

I have tried to find these birth and death certs with no luck. Based on the above, my conclusion is his name is Herbert Henry Jones, and he preferred to go by Henry or HH. His very first census record at 7mos says he was Herbert. The Biological records of Cooper County recorded in 1983 of all the residence list him as Herbert H (This info was provided by BF Jones - his father) His Grave Marker has him as Herbert H All places where he is listed as Henry is when he was at an age to provide that information, thus I feel it was his preference
There is no indication whatsoever that he was "Harry". I believe that the first Harry was HH (1890-1953), my Great Grandfather.
