Herbert Wall

David's father remains a mystery.

We think that he was in the forces and Jean had a brief relationship with him.

He was never mentioned and nobody dared to ask!!

Well actually- John Burton did ask when we went to visit A Jean in Pershore.

Apparently I disappeared into the kitchen at this point and Jean told John that David's father was Sgt Herbert Wall. I don't think she had mentioned his name in years. His service number was WX12989. Possibly Australian??
