About Bruendermann, Herman Heinrich Schulze
Gerhard and Herman left for America on November 10, 1877. The children of Herman and Bernadine dropped the second "n" from Bruendermann. Herman bought 80 acres in Section 18 in Texas Bend, Missouri from Frank and Mary Rolfes on November 19, 1881. Hermans wife Bernadine died in 1898 and Herman died in 1900. The children were still very young and were all sent to live with various relatives. Herman built the St Henry
s convent school in Charleston. It was completed on September 12, 1892. Herman and Bernadine sold their 80 acres of land in Texas Bend to John W Rolwing on March 14, 1895 for $1800.
