Hermann Cara (Karageorgiades)

A étudié et passé son bac au Lycée Français d'Athènes. Médecine à Paris. Médecin Capitaine de l'Armée des Vosges. Ne pouvant reconnaître son fils Maurice, l'a adopté vers 1919. Vice-Consul de Grèce à Vichy avant 1914. Suite à un complot de la Grèce contre la France en 1917, avec l'assassinat de 17 marins français à Salonic (femme du roi de Grèce d'Origine Allemande). A rejeté ses rapports avec la Grèce, et a coupé son nom CARA. Validé vers 1919, avant l'adoption de Maurice. En 1917 après lâ épisode des marins français tués dans un guet-apens (déc. 1916) à Zappeion dans le Pyrée suite à une trahison de la reine de Grèce, dâ origine allemande, Hermann démissionne de sa fonction de Consul de Grèce à Vichy et se fait appeler dorénavant Cara. Emporté par le cancer du fumeur (acte de décès à la mairie de Beyssac). Il était médecin-chef au préventorium du Glandier (Corrèze) où il a soigné Egista ; il a aussi été conseiller général de Bourganeuf (Creuse). Hermann était radical comme Clémenceau et il a épousé Marie-Thérèse fille du député radical de la Creuse , Camille Cousset.
