Hermann Woldemar von Wiesen syntyi 25.9.1850, Pietarissa, Venäjällä ja kastettiin 26.10.1850. Hänen vanhempansa olivat Carl Friedrich Ferdinand von Wiesen ja Johanna Louise von Wiesen os. Biering.

Hermann kävi Larinin kymnaasin (Larin's Gymnasium) Pietarissa ja sen jälkeen kolme vuotta rautatietekniikan instituuttia (Railway engineering institute) ja lopulta valmistui Pietarin metsäinstituutista (Forestry institute) vuonna 1879.

3. päivä tammikuuta 1881 Hermann siirtyi Baltian kuvernementin metsäosastolle töihin. Hänelle myönnettiin kollegiasessorin arvo 3. tammikuuta 1881 ja 3. tammikuuta 1884 hän oli arvoltaan nimineuvos

Herman sai hovineuvoksen arvonimen vuonna 1913 ja sai myös 3. luokan Pyhän Annan ritarikunnan kunniamerkin samana vuonna.

Hän toimi Venäjän valtion metsänhoitajana vuoteen 1918 asti, viimeisenä toimipaikkana oli vuosien 1898-1916 välillä Mologa, Jaroslavin kuvernementti, josta muutti takaisin Pietariin vuoden 1917 kesällä. Hänet erotettiin palveluksesta tammikuussa 1918.

Hermann Woldemar avioitui 4. marraskuuta 1879 Emilie Marie Katharine von Wiesen os. Sandvoss kanssa. Heillä oli yhteiset lapset:

Владимир Карлович Фонвизин родился 25 сентября 1850 года в Санкт-Петербурге, Россия, и был крещен 26 октября 1850 года. Его родителями были Карл Фридрих Фердинанд фон Визен и Йоханна Луиза фон Визен б. Биринг.

Герман учился в гимназии Ларина в Санкт-Петербурге, затем в течение трех лет учился в Институте инженеров путей сообщения и, наконец, окончил Лесной институт в Санкт-Петербурге в 1879 году.

3 января 1881 года Германн перешел на работу в лесной отдел Балтийского правительства. 3 января 1881 г. ему был пожалован чин коллежского асессора, а 3 января 1884 г. он был назначен советником.

В 1913 году Герман получил звание надворного советника и в том же году был награжден орденом Святой Анны 3-й степени.

До 1918 года работал казенным лесничим в России, последним местом его работы в 1898-1916 годах была Молога Ярославской губернии, откуда он вернулся в Петербург летом 1917 года. В январе 1918 года уволен со службы.

4 ноября 1879 года Герман Вольдемар женился на Эмили Мари Кэтрин фон Визен, р. с Сандвос. У них были дети вместе:

Biography

Hermann Woldemar von Wiesen was born on September 25, 1850, in St. Petersburg, Russia, and was baptized on October 26, 1850. His parents were Carl Friedrich Ferdinand von Wiesen and Johanna Louise von Wiesen b. Beering.

Hermann attended Larin's Gymnasium in St. Petersburg and then the Railway engineering institute for three years and finally graduated from the Forestry institute in St. Petersburg in 1879.

On January 3, 1881, Hermann moved to the forest department of the Baltic Government to work. He was granted the rank of collegiate assessor on January 3, 1881, and on January 3, 1884, he was named councilor

Herman received the title of Court Counselor in 1913 and was also awarded the Order of St. Anne 3rd Class in the same year.

He worked as a Russian state forester until 1918, his last place of business between 1898 and 1916 was Mologa, Yaroslavl Governorate, from where he moved back to St. Petersburg in the summer of 1917. He was dismissed from service in January 1918.

On November 4, 1879, Hermann Woldemar married Emilie Marie Katharine von Wiesen, b. with Sandvoss. They had children together:

I wonder if that's the one with the autograph, I can see only small fragments of these texts, they aren't fully available. Looks like Woldemar may have presented his father's book to Leo and signed it.
