Herschel's name (as gestorben) appears in 1871 marriage record of daughter Rosalia to Ignatz Berger, September 13, 1871, in Vagujhely. Bride's mother was July Stricker.

Herschel's name also appears in the 1852 marriage record of son Joseph to Netty Berger, in Vagujhely.

Possible daughter: Cecilie b. ca. 1830, married Philipp Bruk. Their son Ignatz Bruk born 1857 (mother was Cecilie geb. Stricker). Name of Samuel Hirsch Stricker appears as "witness." He and Cecilie could have been siblings; Herschel Stricker had died in 1855.

Mother was Amalia rechte Marie, geb. Bauer in Iglau, Mähren (Moravia). Witness/godparent is Adam Bauer. The baby's grandmother is mentioned in a note: Rosy Striker. Sigmund Stricker b. 1857 not mentioned in his father's 1898 death notice as a surviving child.
