Obituary-The Herald-Press, March 6, 1942. Miss Hilda Wall, 23, native of this county, died at 1:30 a.m. Friday at the clinic hospital in Bluffton. Her death was caused by acute bacterial endocarditir and she had been ill nearly a year. She was born in Rock Creek Township, this county, to Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Wall, July 21, 1918. Surviving are the parents, two sisters, Betty and Phyllis, and one brother, Max at the home near Uniondale. Miss Wall was a member of the graduating class of 1936 of Ossian High School in Wells County. The body was taken to the Elzey and Son funeral home in Ossian where friends may call. Short services will be held at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Monday. The body will then be taken to the St. Aloysius Catholic Church near Yoder where services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday. Interment will be in the St. Aloysius cemetery.
