About Holmfrid Persdotter Pik or Stårck

Holmfrid Pedersdotter Pik? or Stårck

Married

  • Married: (1) Jakob Jacobsson Snakenborg, Married (2) married Kerstin Tott , d 1624 25/5 (Older Swedish Salvation Family 3, 1989, p 289).
  • Married (2) Jakob Jonsson, i Lång, Grums, in 1580, when Elin her daughter was around 2 years old. In a letter from Duke Carl, dated March 21, 1580, "our beloved Jakob Jonsson" is allowed to use the estates that he and his wife acquired from her father Pär Larsson "which are lying in Värmland", but with the condition that not on any way to dispose of them without first "offering and granting ourselves to all others". This freedom from taxation has somehow been suspended temporarily and in a letter from Jakob Jonsson to Duke Carl, dated Gripsholm on April 23, 1595, he writes: "I, Jakob Jonsson to Lång, confess that after my K. Wife Hamfrid Pedersdotter, they have squandered her estate were inherited, under Cronan, for the reason that she took me as a married man as an unsalvated man, and Sweden's law contains that a freed woman farmer, then gives tax and debt as a farmer..." after further attestations, "... with the good consent of my wife and relatives is given and given... His Princely Grace... my wife's inheritance Söderby named in Sone parish on Kållen in Västergötland lies... to eternal property. . and for further confirmation I request the seals of the honest and virtuous men Nils Månsson and Olaf Cristoffersson as well as my own below this letter..." By this counterstroke it seems that he cleared up the situation. Frälsegården Mellbyn in Bro (S) was owned in turn by Peder Larsson till Bro, Jakob Jonsson and Elin Jakobsdotter. Jakob Jakobsson Snakenborg (Boat) to Stävlö in Åby sn (Kalm), d 1627 7/3. G 1607 (morning gift 28/4) He was not, as Elgenstierna states, married 1st with "Holmfrid Persdotter Pik". See also Kjell Magnell's essay "Pelle in Ramstad, Stårckarna and Elin Jakobsdotter" in Släkt och Hävd no. 2-3 / 1965, pp. 397-420.

I have considered it imperative to once again draw attention to this, since the erroneous statement that Lennart Svenskes wife Elin Jakobsdotter should have belonged to the family Bååt, reappeared in the Finnish-Swedish journal Genealogist no. 2/1999. As Magnell has shown, she was the daughter of the unruly rider Jakob Jonsson to Lång in Grums sn (Värml) and Holmfrid Persdotter of the Ramstad family.

Varmlandsrotter A Major Property Owner in Värmland and Dalsland

Margareta Persdotter, sister of Holmfrid was a Large landowner in Värmland and Dalsland. She inherited salvation property in Steneby parish on Dal after her mother Karin Andersdotter. After the death of her father Per Larsson's "Little Per", she also inherited the farm estate Bro in Värmland, where she and her husband Nils Månsson Roos are believed to have lived from 1579. After the death of her husband in 1603, Margareta ruled and placed her own domains alone. Only in Steneby under the Dingelvik farm she had 12 saviors. It was not only in Steneby that she owned properties. According to a protocol from 1619, she owned the entire Sund's farm in the parish of Nössemarks on Dal as well as several salvation homes in Värmland. Margareta Persdotter died childless in Bro around 1629 and as the closest heir, Elin Jacobsdotter of rider champion Lennart Persson Svenske.

According to a protocol from 1619, the entire Sunds farm was owned by Margareta Pedersdotter on Bro. She was probably married to a Pär Nilsson in Bro. He then owned Bro's farm and several other homes in Värmland.

Already in this quote I see an error. Margareta was not married to Pär Nilsson but to Nils Månsson Roos. In addition, Margareta died childless and had no breast wings.

The next quote reads: Pär Nilsson and Maret Nilsdotter were probably full siblings. Maret inherited his mother's ownership in Sund and had it until 1623.

In 1623, Maret Nilsdotter sold his ownership to Björn Nilsson in Sund. I believe that this heritage castle was sold within the family and can reasonably assume that Björn was the brother of Maret and Pär.

If I can believe without having any evidence, then Maret, Pär and Björn were children of Nils Månsson Roos in a previous marriage and in this way Maret and Björn may have inherited the property in Sund in Nössemark while Nils inherited in Bro. For several years I have tried to clarify this for several years, but each time I have to give up. Maybe someone can help me figure this out, I'm grateful to have a relationship with both Margareta Persdotter and Maret Nilsdotter and Björn Nilsson.

Volume 23 (1980-1981), page 70.

Biography

Lillie, salvation family, whose members for a long time only used first names and patronymics, and only around SEK 1580 can be proven to have adopted a family name after their coat of arms with three lilies. At Riddarhuset, it was called L af Ökna to distinguish it from other families L.

The family's oldest known ancestor was the squire Lasse Ödhinsson (not "Öndersson"; t earliest 1466) at Ökna in Flöda, Söd, who first appears in 1425, when he was awarded land in Västra Okna as an inheritance from his grandmother. The family tree information about his ancestors has not been able to be verified and is partly due to name combinations with people who in fact lived later than L.

His son the armsman Anders Laurensson (d at the earliest in 1491) on Ökna was married to a niece of the judge at Kopparberget Knut Jönsson (Svinhuvud ) father of Axel Andersson(d about SEK 1546). This is mentioned as early as 1499 (Wieselgren) and appears in STb 1519 together with Sten Sture dyo 1520 together with his widow's followers. He became a lawman in Västmanland and Dalarna at the latest in 1523, a few days before Gustav I's ascension to the throne, then a councilor and between 1528 and 1530 a lawman in Uppland. A participated in the Västerås Riksdag in 1527, sat in the courts over Knut Mikaelsson (bd 21) in 1526, Peder Jakobsson (Sunnanväder) in 1527, the lords of Västgöta in 1529 o the leader of the clock rebellion in 1534 o was in the autumn of 1540 among the Swedish representatives at the meeting with the Danes in Kalmar. His seat was Länna in Almunge, Upps, which he received as a fief in 1523. As a fief, A also had Vendels and Tegelsmora parishes, Upps, from 1526 and still in 1529, in the 1530s Almunge parish and from 1537 Västlands and Hållnäs parishes, Upps,

A's brother the Riksrådet o lawman Knut Andersson (L 1) was the father of the Riksrådet o lawman Knut Knutsson or Knut L (L 2), o grandfather of Helena Snakenborg , who was married to King Henry VIII of England's brother-in-law William Parr, Marquess of Northampton. The family died out on the male side with L 2's son Knut L (d between 1628 and 1636) in Ökna. However, according to information only discovered in the middle of the 18th century, he must have had a sister named Anna L, who was King Gustav I's granddaughter Duke Gustavs of Saxony-Engern-Westphalia frilla and with him became the progenitor of the Rutencrantz family.
