Dame Maud Elizabeth Bevan, DBE, JP (née Brand; 18 August 1856 – 8 January 1944) was the daughter of Henry Bouverie William Brand, 1st Viscount Hampden of Glynde and 23rd Baron Dacre, and his wife, Eliza Ellice.

Maud Elizabeth Brand and David Augustus Bevan (born 1856 – died 26 December 1937) married on 22 October 1885. They resided at Shephall Bury, near Stevenage during the 1920s.

Maurice Bevan (born 9 August 1886–died 6 January 1925; predeceased his parents);

Nancy Isabel Bevan (born 9 June 1888);

Thomas Richard Bevan (born 16 May 1890);

Colonel John Henry Bevan (born 5 April 1894–died 1978).

Dame Maud Bevan died on 8 January 1944, aged 87.

She was invested as a Dame Commander, Order of the British Empire (DBE) in 1918 "for services to the Red Cross in the Great War"; she held the office of Justice of the Peace (JP) for Hertfordshire in 1920.
