About Hon Frank Henry Edwards
Soldier of the Great War - 2nd 8th Royal Warwickshire Regt. Fought and was one of just over 130 allied soldiers including Anzacs to be taken prisoner at the Battle of Fromelles - France. Around 7000 Australian and British soldiers died in a day in this little known engagement with the most fierce hand to hand combat - 50 miles from the Somme. He faced the Bavarian Regt that had one Corporal Adolph Hitler.
