She married Major John Edward Murray Smith, son of George Murray Smith and Hon. Ellen Strutt, on 6 September 1916.1 She died on 2 July 1955. From 6 September 1916, her married name became Smith. She gained the rank of Section Officer in the Women's Auxiliary Air Force, during the Second World War.
