MEMORIAL PHOTOS 2 FLOWERS 1 "Hons “Mann” Davis, Jr., a resident of Lockhart, passed away on May 30, 2015 at the age of 90.

He was born in the Brownsboro Community to Samuel Hons and Thelma (Perry) Davis on June 14, 1924.

He and his father were injured in a gravel pit accident in 1940, which eventually resulted in losing part of his left leg in 1946. He did not let this injury stop him, and became skilled at walking and working with a prosthetic leg. He worked many years as a mechanic and a truck driver before settling back in Clearfork in the early 1980’s. He was the proprietor of Clearfork Sand and Gravel for the next 35 years.

Mr. Davis loved fishing and boating with his kids and grandkids.

He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Barbara Hannah; and his daughter, Carolyn Morgan."
