Austin-Memorial svc for Howard H Fisher will be at 10:30am Fri at Mayer Funeral Home, Austin, Rev Joe Fogal officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cem, Austin, at later time. Mr Fisher, 87, of Austin, d Sun (Jan 6 2008) at Austin Medical Ctr. Howard Henry Fisher b Aug 6 1920, in Austin. Feb 22 1941, he m Lois V Johnson in Austin; she preceded him in death Mar 22 2007. Mr Fisher retired from Hormel Foods Corp. He & wife were mbrs of St Edwards Catholic Church, Austin & spent retirement yrs in Mesa, AZ. He enjoyed swimming, hiking, reading, cooking, & everything sports. He also was avid storyteller & loved people. Survivors include dtr, Elizabeth LeFevour, Elmhurst, IL; son, David, Austin; & 3 grdchildren. In addition to wife, he was preceded in death by son, son-in-law, & sister. Friends may call from hr bef svc at Mayer Funeral Home. Am Legion Post 91 will provide military rites.
