HOWARD WATKINS, 49, OF DELHI DIES; FUNERAL SERVICES ARE SLATED
TURLOCK -- Funeral services for Howard Watkins, 49, who died in his Delhi home following a short illness Saturday, will be conducted at 4 PM tomorrow at Norton Mortuary. Watkins resided in Delhi the past 12 years, being engaged in the turkey business. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Jennie Watkins Delhi; two sons, Hullen H, and Randell Watkins, both of Delhi; four daughters, Ida Hill, Delhi, Wanda Biggs, Hayward, Joy Cassel, Madera and Shirley Jean Watkins, Delhi; three brothers, W. E. Watkins, Texas, Karl Watkins, Alaska, and Frank Watkins, Salinas; five sisters Mrs. Eva Rhodes, Coalinga, Mae and Mary Lawrence, Hollister, and Hattie Scarbrough and Viola Splawnn, both of Texas. He also leaves eight grandchildren. Interment will be in Turlock Cemetery with Rev. George Goddrey. Turlock First Presbyterian Church pastor, officiating.
