Hubert Alton Crockett

Hubert A. Crockett, 51, passed away at his home in Red Bank, N. J., December 3. He was a former resident of Lee County.

At the time of his death he was a Security Office at the Colonial First National Bank, he was retired from the coast guard after 21 years service. He was director of civil defense for Red Bank, J.j.; and a member of the Ancient Honor Society of the Jersey Blue.

Survived by his wife, Mrs. Florence Gorman Crockett, Red Bank, J. J.; one son, Andrew B. Crockett, Kissimmee, Fla; three brothers,Frank Hyatt Crockett,William B. Crockett, St. Paul, Minn., Emory Crockett, Rose Hill, Va.; one sister, Mrs. Robert L. Stewart, Rose Hill.

Graveside services will be conducted Friday, December 6 at 2:00 p.m., from the Crockett Cemetery in Rose Hill. The family will receive friends Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Davidson Funeral Home of Rose Hill in charge of arrangements.
