HUGH G. MARR LAST RITES HELD DEC 21 Funeral services for Hugh G. Marr, 73, were held Sunday Dec. 21 at 2:30 p.m. in the Crews Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. A.L. Swagerty, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. Mr. Marr died suddenly at his home in Apache Friday, Dec. 19. He was born July 23, 1913 at Broxton and was married to Odie Mae Roberts Sept. 15, 1940 at Lawton. He was a veteran of WWII, having served in Europe. He owned and operated a Conoco service station in Apache from 1951 to 1978. He was also a rural mail carrier from 1949 to 1978. He was a life long resident of Apache. Survivors include his wife of the home; three sons, Murl Wayne Marr and Bill Marr, both of Apache; and Ricky Marr of Elk City, Ok.; one daughter, Sharon Marr Roberts of Apache; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two brothers, Wayne Marr of Apache, and Baxter Marr of Midwest City, Ok.; two sisters, Ruby Whaley of Apache, and Zelma Marquis of of Fort Worth, Tex. Burial was in the Fairview cemetery under the direction of the Crews Funeral Home. submitted by Sandy Miller #48850283
