Hugh McKee, (c.1665 - c.1710)

We have battling Ireland McKee trees in GENI.

Hugh may well be the same as Hugh Mckee, Anahilt Branch . But there are two sets of problems:

• Ancestry of Hugh differs. "Four brothers" from Strathnaver, vs. from Wigton and with a long pedigree. Which is right? Are both wrong?
• Hugh has children of the same name with different dates and different fates. This possibly could be due to some children actually belonging to brothers of Hugh.

Profiles cannot be merged until this is sorted out - if indeed it ever can be.
