Humphrey Lloyd

Humphrey Lloyd was the 9th child of John and Laura Lloyd of Caernarvon. He was born in October 1861 in Menai Bridge. In the 1871 census he was 10 years old and living with his widowed mother, Laura, in Mountain Street Caernarvon. His mother is described on the census form ad an Annuitant. On the 5 th March 1886 his will is published and when he died on 4th December 1885 he was based at Avonmouth Docks in Bristol. He was a ship,s carpenter and was reported as drowned in the register of deaths at sea. He was on the Earl of Beaconsfield. Four masted iron sailing ship. He was a bachelor and left £94 to his brother William Thomas Lloyd. He was 24 years old.
