  5. Note: He served five years in the Revolutionary army, four years in a succession of enlistments. (See Massachusetts Soldiers and Sailors in the Revolution.) He lived some years at Norwich (now Huntington), Mass. He applied for a pension April 1, 1818, living then at Lancaster, N. H ., aged 61 years. In 1837 he removed to Genese County, N.Y ., to live with his son-in-law, Abel Leavings.

Humphrey Willard (1757-1846) was a private in Capt. Holden's company, Col. Nixon's Massachusetts regiment. He was born in Barry, Vt.; died in Bethany, N. Y.

William Webb (1742-1825) served in the Virginia Infantry. He was born in Richmond County; died in Buckingham County, Va.

James Dillard (1755-1814) served as lieutenant and captain in the 10th Virginia Continental regiment. He was born and died in Amherst County, Va.
