About Hynek Fischer
Hynek Fischer studied an elementary school in Mikulov, later law in Brno. Then he worked at the Regional Court in Mikulov, but in 1938 or 1939 he was arrested by Gestapo, transported to Vienna. Later he was deported to Saxony and in 1942 to Brno. He fled and was hiding in Líšeň (today part of Brno). After the war he and his wife (Roman Catholic, had 3 children before she married Fischer) moved to Mikulov.
In Mikulov, Fischer worked again at the Regional Court, administrated the property of the Jewish Congregation in Mikulov and organised transports of Jews from Mikulov, to Vienna and then to Israel. From 1948 he worked at the Municipal Office. He also led the Jewish and German community in Mikulov.
In 1970 he moved to Germany. In 1971 he lived in Breisach, in 1977 near Nauheim (Hessen).
In 1962 without children.
