Ida Viola Clemmer, 96, of Frederick, PA, widow of the late Paul Clemmer, passed away Monday, September 23, 2013 at Frederick Living, with her great niece at her side. She resided at Frederick Living for 6 years.

Born and lived in Gilbertsville, PA, she was the last surviving daughter of the late Lena (Bertolet) and Cyrus Yerger.

Her late sisters were Beatrice Reeves, Helen Bergey, Jane Houck and their late husbands, all of Gilbertsville, Pa.

She was a member of New Hanover Evangelical Lutheran Church, for 96 years, located at 2941 Lutheran Rd, Gilbertsville, PA 19525. Viola was employed at the A & P Grocery Store, Pottstown, working in the office for over 33 years.

Never having any children, she is survived by nieces, nephews and their families.

Funeral Services will be held at New Hanover Evangelical Lutheran Church, Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. Friends and family may call at Frederick Living, 2849 Big Road, Frederick, PA, 19525, Monday, September 30, 2013 from 2 to 4 p.m. and on Tuesday at New Hanover Church from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m., Tuesday, October 1, 2013.
