About Ida Corina "Cora" Jeffers

Electric flash kills woman:
Mrs.Tom Jeffers was killed almost instantly at her home when a bolt of lighting struck her and the cow she was milking. Seeing a storm approaching she tied the cow to a wire fence and continued to milk her. A bolt of lighting hit the fence and killed the cow instantly. Her son, Lloyd, witnessed the accident and carried his mother into the house. She died about 5 minutes later.
She is survived by her husband and 8 children, the youngest being 6 years old.
She was a school teacher.
