Ida (Brown) Shifres Entered into rest, Jan. 16, late of Revere. Beloved wife of the late Samuel Shifres. Devoted mother of Herbert and his wife Paula Shifres and the late Merilyn Kraiterman. Loving sister of Goldie Miller, Annette Harris and the late Marion Price, Irving and Charles Brown. Cherished grandmother of Shelley Rafuse, Deborah and her husband Joseph Spallone, Alyson and her husband Scott Miller, Scott Shifres and great-grandmother of Stephanie Rafuse, Joseph and Jessica Spallone, Cameron, Ella, and Abigail Miller. Services at the Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel, 10 Vinnin St., SALEM-Swampscott line on Friday, Jan. 19 at 12:00 Noon. Memorial observance Friday until sundown at the Jack Satter House, 9th Floor, 420 Revere Beach Blvd., Revere, MA 02151 and will continue on Sunday only at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Shifres. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be donated to the Congregation 420 at the Jack Satter House.
