Daniel D. Horn, age 93, of Baxter passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Parmly On The Lake in Chisago City. Services will be on Tuesday, May 8 at 11 a.m., at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, with Reverend Lowell Clarke officiating. Friends may call during the hour before the service. Burial will be at Baxter City Cemetery.

Daniel was born on August 14, 1924 in May Township, Cass County to George and Flarra (Barnett) Horn. He married Inez M. Neva in Minneapolis on October 3, 1959. He was an Army veteran who served during World War Two. He also served in the Army of occupation in Japan. He was a retired employee of Northwest Paper Company and Potlatch, with 30 years of service. He was a member of Heritage Assembly of God Church in Baxter.

Survivors include a son, Paul W. Horn; a daughter-in-law, Melissa A. Horn; and three grandchildren, Zoe, Isabel and Sadie, of Forest Lake. His wife, Inez Horn; a son, Scott; his parents; two sisters, Dorothy and Helen; and 11 brothers, Ernest, Herbert, Emory, Wilmer, Thomas, Wesley, Clarence, Leslie, George, Norbert, and an infant sibling died earlier.

Brenny Funeral Chapel and Cremation Service
