About Ingeborg I. Franzsen
Ingeborg wa the sixth daughter of Johannes and Sara Franzsen. She married dominee Andries Stockenström and served together with him first in Paarl and then in Ficksburg where she retired. Apart from her duties as Ministers wife, she served as chairlady of the Womens Missionary League as well as the great work of the Orange Womens Society in various capacities. Together with her husband she achieved a lot of connection with cultural affairs, youth government and upliftment of the less advantaged. She was known for her interest in education and her generous hospitallyty towards everyone.
