"Isaac Bowen was born in Roxbury April 20, 1676. He married Hannah, daughter of Josiah and Mary Winchester of Muddy River; the date of their marriage is not recorded, but it was probably in 1698... Isaac Bowen was one of the organizers of the first church in Framingham, and one of its eighteen original members... (he) sold his property in Framingham... November 18, 1702, and moved back to Roxbury... Isaac married second, April 15, 1720, Elizabeth, daughter of Lieut. Benjamin and Anne Tucker of Roxbury.... He died at Stoughton... January 1, 1726-7."
