Isaac Cohen d'Azevedo

There are a few mistakes in the Coen de Azevedo tree: At the top should not be a Joseph de Azevedo, but a Daniel. His son Isaac was buried in Hamburg. On his grave -chiselled in stone: son of Daniel. Though I have not been able to find more about this Daniel de Azevedo, I assume that must be the fathers name. He was married to Abigail Curiel Rozado, I have seen no evidence for a second marriage, I wonder where that comes from.

Isaacs alias is Henrique de Azevedo as can be seen in the Inquisition Archives of Portugal/Lisbon, Processo of Miguel Frances, https://digitarq.arquivos.pt/details?id=2307348 “e no fin dos dittos dous annos[,] o mandou o ditto Manoel Françes seu irmâo para Asterdâo[,] a effeito de que n[']aquella cidade fosse circuncidado por nella haver Sinagoga publica, e foi dirigido a Henrique de Azevedo[,] parente delle denunciante e natural desta // cidade [Lisbon, I think], que na de Asterdâo vive[,] publico profitente na ley de Moyses com o nome de Isac Cohem de Azevedo[,] e sera homem de quarenta annos, tirado [?] do corpo e barba castanha, e por meio deste foi elle confitente circuncidado e continuava depois nas sinagogas como publico judio[,] e nellas teve communicaçâo e conhecimento do ditto Henrique de Azevedo, e de hum irmâo deste, a que nâo sabe o nome de Catholico, e se nomeava por Moyses Cohem de Azevedo.”

Henrique aka Izaque de Azevedo was a native of Lisbon (because the statement was made in this town) and resided in Amsterdam, and was a relative of the people who did the statement. From this, it also becomes clear that he had a brother Moses, who is missing from the tree altogether.
