1820 British Settler

Isaac Dyason 39, wine merchant, together with his wife Sarah Lilly, 39, and 4 children, were members of George Dyason's Party of 67 Settlers on the Settler Ship Zoroaster.

Party originated from London.

Departure London, 12 February 1820. Arrival Simon's Bay, Cape Town - 30 April 1820 (Final Port).

Area Allocated to the Party : Lushington Valley on the Torrens River.

(Note - these appear to be the only 4 surviving of 8 children born before 1820.)

It looks as if the family (or at least parents and 2 daughters) moved down to Cape Town sometime before 1843. They weren't present at Roger's 2nd marriage in Grahamstown in 1843, but were witnesses at Elizabeth's in 1845.

No record of what became of Isaac Jnr.
