Mary (Wood) Holmes b Plymouth ca. 1643 d there 6 Jan 1714 daughter of John and Mary Masterson Wood (or Atwood) She m (1) Plymouth 11 Dec 1661 John Holmes with whom she had Joseph, Mary and Isaac. The March 1675/6 division of the estate of John Wood Jr. (Mary's brother) names "Mistress Mary Holmes"..... The will of John Holmes of Duxbury dated 16 Dec 1675 names wife Mary Holmes and children Joseph, Mary and Isaac.
Isaac was born about October 1673 in Duxbury, Plymouth. He was the son of John and Mary (At)wood Holmes.
Isaac married Mary Nye on November 21, 1705. From the original hand-scribed registry: "The marriage between Isaac Holms of Plimouth and Mary Nye of Sandwich was solemnized before Mr. Rowland Cotton minester in Sandwich November 21, 1705."
Isaac and Mary began their family in Plymouth then removed to Kingston, Plymouth where they continued to raise their family.
Isaac passed away in Kingston on April 11, 1738. He is buried at the Old Burial Ground in Kingston, Plot: "Holmes."
