About Isaac Samuel Guggenheim
In 1733/34, at the age of 30, emigrated from Worms to Aldingen, a village located not far from Ludwigsburg (in Wurttemberg)
Had to rely on himself to bring religion and a good life to his wife and to their six children (all who grew to maturity in Aldingen). His house was the only Jewish house in the village until 1741.
Very popular with the ruler of Aldingen who frequently recommended him to other members of the nobility with whom they could do business. He was said to have been a simple, charitable person with a very kind heart.
Buried in the Jewish Cemetery in Hochberg, Germany.
