1851 living in Old Post Office St. The family of Isaac offers wider evidence of the breaking of the fishing mould. Susannah married the farmer, Robert Ripley, and their son remained in that occupation, at Ravenscar. There were seven children and fifteen grandchildren. Known descendants are of the family of Mrs. Mary Parker of Windy Ridge, Egton Bridge, who was brought up at Ravenscar. Abigail and Jane married outside the parish and Matthew went to Teesside. There is a well-known photograph by Frank Sutcliffe of Isaac and his crew with their coble on thebeach at Bay: they are Reuben, Thomas and Matthew.
