About Isaac Wheeler, Sr.

Isaac Wheeler was born in Lynn, MA, 1646 and was married by Thomas Stanton, Jan. 10, 1667, to Martha, daughter of Thomas and Dorothy (Thompson) Park. He served in King Philip's War of 1675/6 and died June 5, 1712 (January 5, 1712 on gravestone). She died Feb. 14, 1717, and they are both buried in Whitehall Cemetery. (1)

Isaac Wheeler was the son of Thomas Wheeler (1602 - 1686) and Mary Beckley; he married Martha Parke, daughter of Thomas and Dorothy Thompson Parke, on January 10, 1667. Isaac served in the Colonial Indian Wars. His inscription reads: "HERE LYETH THE BODY OF M. ISAAC WHEELER, WHO DIED JAN. 5, 1712, AGED 66 YEARS". Research by Steven P. Wheeler, a descendant.
